Programming Procedure
How is CCE custom programming installed?
All CCE custom programming is distributed over-the-air via the third-party AutoSync tool, available from BT DieselWorks.
You must already own an AutoSync before purchasing any programming!
We do NOT do "mail-in" programming services or vehicle module exchanges.
We are NOT able to setup new replacement modules. If your BCM, radio, etc has failed and needs to be replaced, you must have the initial installation and factory programming done at a GM dealership before installing aftermarket custom programming from us.
Once you have purchased programming from us, your vehicle's module license should be activated within 24-48 hours. You are free to make tuning/customization changes at any time, even before the license shows "Ready", however the AutoSync will not actually be able to download the custom programming from the cloud until the license shows "Ready".
When the custom programming is licensed and ready for download by the AutoSync, it will show "Licensed - Ready" on your AutoSync profile/vehicle manager. If the module is showing "Licensed - Not Ready", that means that there are additional setup procedures that we must complete 'behind the scenes'.
If the license status does not change to "Ready" within 48 hours, please contact us
Once the module license shows "Ready" and you have made all of your desired tuning changes/settings, run the WiFi firmware update on your AutoSync device. This will fetch your new custom programming from the cloud. Once the AutoSync download has completed, you must then download the programming from the AutoSync into your vehicle.

Vehicles with IO4/IO5/IO6 radio
(vehicles that support the AutoSync on-screen-menus)
With the ignition ON, engine OFF, open up the AutoSync main menu, and go to Page 4. Then go to "Module Programming". You will see all of your available/licensed modules listed. You will only see modules listed of which you have purchased licenses for. If you have purchased a license for a module and do not see it listed, please try the AutoSync firmware download again, and verify that the module license shows "Ready" on your AutoSync online web account portal.
Click on the module that you wish to program, and then choose "Modified" to flash your new custom programming into your truck! After the programming is complete, cycle the ignition off for 10 seconds.

Vehicles without IO4/IO5/IO6 radio
(vehicle does not support AutoSync on-screen-menus)
If your vehicle does not have the IO4/IO5/IO6 radio, the only programming support is for BCM flashing. IPC/HVAC/radio programming is not supported if your vehicle does not have IO4/IO5/IO6 radio.
To flash the BCM on vehicles without IO4/IO5/IO6:
- Be sure that you have done the AutoSync firmware update so that your most recent/updated tune settings are downloaded to the AutoSync
- Plug the AutoSync into the vehicle
- Turn the ignition ON, engine OFF (for vehicles with push button start, press and HOLD the start button with your foot OFF of the brake pedal for several seconds until the ignition turns fully on. Wait 10 seconds.
- Press and hold the brake pedal. Be sure that the parking brake is NOT set.
- Put a turn signal on (does not matter left or right)
- Press the door LOCK button on the drivers door
- Within a few seconds, the LED should start flashing red/blue as the download begins.
- You will see a bunch of warning lights on the instrument cluster, the turn signal will stop flashing, and the instrument cluster might show a "vehicle flash progress" message in the Driver Info Center
- The flash procedure should only take 20 seconds or so. When the flash is complete, the LED on the AutoSync will flash BLUE rapidly, and all of the warning lights in the instrument cluster will clear/return to normal.
- Release the brake pedal, put the turn signal lever back to neutral
- Turn the ignition off for 10 seconds.
- Done!!
